The papers and posters will represent the leading edge of quantitative methods research in political science, including innovations in research design for causal inference, applied statistics, survey methods, machine learning, text analysis, large language models and the like. 

Basic Structure of the 2024 Meeting

• The meeting will begin at 8:00 AM (all times PT) on Thursday, so your travel day will be Wednesday, July 17.
• The paper panels will be on Thursday (9 AM - 5 PM), Friday (9 AM - 5 PM), and Saturday (9 AM - noon).
• The poster receptions will be in the UCR Culver Center Art Museum atrium on both Thursday and Friday from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
• The SPM business meeting will be held at 8 AM on Friday morning.
• Meals and breaks: Continental breakfast will be served from 8 AM - 9 AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday, along with coffee/tea/snack breaks each afternoon. Box lunches will be provided on Thursday and Friday. 
• There will be the annual Polmeth Diversity Dinner on Wednesday which is by invitation only.
